You will need to compare drawings of the two and decide for yourself if the Bodine model can be used. The Baldor model is rated for use with an SCR type speed control (90 volts max output), whereas the Bodine model is rated for use with a PWM type speed control (130 volts max. output). The Bodine model will match the performance of the Baldor model pretty closely if it is used with an SCR control). The Baldor model has 2 driveshaft extensions, one on each side of the gearbox, whereas the Bodine model has only 1 driveshaft extension. If you need a driveshaft on both sides, Bodine can make a built-to-order variation of our gearmotor with 2 driveshaft extensions, but we don't stock it that way.
